The Dior Looks of Chiara Ferragni for the Sanremo Music Festival in Italy
For the 73rd edition of the annual Sanremo Music Festival – an event dedicated to Italian songs – taking place from February 7 to 11, 2023 on the Ligurian Riviera, Chiara Ferragni was dressed in four Dior haute couture creations specially designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri.
A tribute to the virtuosity of the Dior Ateliers, the first model reveals architectural lines and an enchanting, crushed fabric draped asymmetrically. A stole dotted with the words “Pensati Libera”, a credo adopted by the Claire Fontaine collective, completes the look. Sculpting the curves of a body in a trompe-l’oeil effect, the second dress in cotton tulle, is entirely adorned with beads, while the third, draped in white silk satin, is embroidered with the comments received by the fashion businesswoman on social networks. As an ultimate surprise, the last outfit is composed of a jersey jumpsuit, a subtle second skin, covered with topaz diamante and combined with a skirt in flesh-toned tulle offering an interplay of light and transparency. At once objects of art and tokens of self-assertion, these exceptional pieces embody a manifesto carrying, amplifying the voice of women, a vision dear to the Creative Director of Dior women’s collections.
